In pather panchali the simplicity or pleasing village life represents accurate bengali village life, which have been disappeared during the partition in 1947. And we can see how the use of eye level shots natural lighting , long day and other techniques to achieve realism. The film also describes about the realities that takes place in our lifes.

Here for me, the highlighted realities are changing of seasons or the passing of a day which is concretely filmed . And this film also a example how even very poor people can enjoy the little pleasures of their own world and it shows that poverty always does not negate love in people’s life.

And the use of different Rasa in the film is very good observing fact. Here the wishes of that poor family are very simple and true.And here the Presentation of humanity is very good and it is a example for humanity too.

This film is about a poor brahmin family of a rural village.There are Apu,his sister durga who plays the role of innocent teen and their father Harihar and mother.One side it shows the poverty of poor man how Harihar earns and hardly tries to make days pass.Another side it shows the fond of love,the love between Apu and Durga,the teasing between them and they do mistakes and again forget everything.
